Walkthrough[edit]
Essentials[edit]
Take all the weapons and ammo around you then step into the teleporter to enter a large arena. Approach the large pointed column in the center of the arena and it will lower to reveal eight barons of Hell surrounding a hole in the floor - some or all of the barons will teleport to the raised platforms at the edges of the arena when they step off the wooden platform. Drop into the hole and press the satyr switch at the bottom to be taken back up again. You will see that the blood pool around you has fallen away to a large pit - head due north and go round a diamond-shaped platform to find another satyr switch, which will raise some staircases so you can climb out of the pit.
When you climb out you will find that the four corners of the arena have lowered to reveal a large number of enemies including zombies, imps, demons, mancubi and arachnotrons - as you fight these monsters you will also have to contend with some arch-viles that teleport in (they have a different appearance to normal arch-viles but their attack patterns are identical). Once all the monsters are killed, step into the fenced windows at the corners of the arena to find the red, yellow and blue skull keys - collecting all three keys will cause a spiderdemon to teleport into the center of the arena. Kill it to finish the level and the game.
Other points of interest[edit]
There are four diamond-shaped platforms in the blood pool that start moving up and down after you reach the first satyr switch. Step on them as they lower to find a supercharge, a megaarmor and three boxes of rockets.
