Going Down is a 32-level megawad for Doom II released by Cyriak Harris (mouldy), featuring its own original soundtrack by the same author and a custom DeHackEd boss monster. It requires a Boom-compatible source port to play. It is known for its small, fairly hard maps with high body counts, and gameplay the author has described as “chaotic-evil”.
Story
Something went wrong at an UAC office building, and Doomguy is sent to investigate, starting from the top of the skyscraper and getting to the bottom of the story. While doing so, he is often interrupted by nagging phone calls from his mother, which advance the plot humorously: accessing the secret levels, for example, is explained in-story as going back to the roof to get a better reception.
