Hank Leukart was a prominent member and unofficial frontman for the Doom community on the Internet during its earliest beginnings in 1993. He is the primary author of the Official Doom FAQ, which served as the main source of accumulated community information, both speculative and confirmed, on Usenet beginning in the period before Doom's release, and was eventually given its blessing as "official" by id Software itself via its inclusion with the game. He became a professional author with the release of his Doom Hacker's Guide, and is now an accomplished TV producer as well. [1]
