Maledict

The Maledict is a large winged monster, first seen in the final cinematic of Doom 3, then featured in Doom 3: Resurrection of Evil.

The Maledict is the large, twisted form of Dr. Betruger, with Betruger's head at the end of the creature's tongue. It serves as the final boss of RoE, launching fireballs, teleporting, and generating Forgotten Ones.
Once it is defeated, the cutscene features the Maledict biting the Marine, only to have The Artifact shoved down its throat, destroying the artifact and killing the Maledict.
