Essentials[edit]

You start this map in a tight corridor, open the door and you will fight against shotgun guys. Cross to the left and then the map will start to open to the right. You will have a path that goes straight ahead to other areas of the map, but on the way, on your right, you will see a platform with a super shotgun (SSG). When you activate the platform, you will get the SSG and a small door will open behind you, on the west wall.

The new path will take you through some stairs to a room with consoles, guarded by a Hell knight, kill the demon and continue down the path, you will reach a green door that leads to the outside, where you will find a brown building, where a revenant attacks you, and a bunch of shotgun guys on a hill. As you enter the building, there will be multiple enemies, including an arch-vile, so be careful and take cover until you kill them all. In this area you will find useful items and the red key. After picking it up, go back the same way until you reach the main path before the SSG.

Follow the path straight ahead. On the left, there will be a small console room with several chaingunners, so be careful. Once you continue along the path, you will reach the end where you will turn left again and see what appears to be an industrial pool of acid. There are a lot of spectres in this area, accompanied by a cacodemon, so it's best to kill them before entering to avoid being eaten. Once you have killed them, in order to get into the pool you will have to go backwards on the platform and pick up speed to jump into the pool. Once there, climb on one of the ledges, but be careful, multiple windows will open on your right, where zombiemen will attack you from afar. Continue to the bottom until you pick up the radiation shielding suit, which you will need to be able to dive to the bottom of the pool, just in the small area where there are some rails, the path goes deep through a tight tunnel system. When you reach the bottom, cross to the left and go up some steps. Walk straight ahead until you reach a platform, which will take you up a long path, which continues straight ahead until you reach the previous area of windows where the zombiemen attacked you. In this room there is armor and rockets. Go back the way you came, and you will see a single path opening in the north wall, this is the path.

There are a lot of enemies here, including chaingunners, cacodemons and demons, so be careful when entering. This is a nukage disposal area, at the bottom, a door will open in the wall where imps will attack you. As you cross inside, a wave of lost souls will teleport into the nukage pools, so be careful. In the imp room, there is a switch which activates some steps at the entrance where you came from, go back to them.

When you go up, right in front of you is the right path, but it is closed by a wall. Go to the next room, and on the console at the bottom, press it to open the wall which will take you to the platform with the red door revealed. This new room is filled with zombiemen and two pain elementals. When you kill them, at the back of the room, there are useful items. Meanwhile, a wave of cacodemons will attack you on your way out, so be prepared. When you leave the room, go back to the building where the red key was, go to the back of the crates and the wooden wall will be a door that leads to a platform that takes you to a new area.

The initial area is guarded by chaingunners, then a straight path leads you to a room full of imps, zombiemen and a revenant. In front of the path is a ledge with a switch, go up and press it. Before going up, you will see a bump that leads to a path. This is actually a platform, use it to go up. The place where the zombiemen were is not where you exit the level, so ignore it for now. The path leads to a supercharge, while crossing it you will be ambushed by multiple imps. Now you can get out of there and activate the switch in case you haven't activated it.

The switch above where the ledge is activates a teleporter to the exit. To get to this teleporter, go back through the building with the red key, exit there, go through the green door and you will see an open door in front of you in the metal structure. Go inside and you will pass through the teleporter which takes you to the exit door, where a pain elemental awaits you. Once you cross into the lava, you finish the level.
