PyDoom is a GZDoom based source port which was created and is maintained by Kate Stone for her flagship project, Dimension LXXII. It is active, but currently has no releases.

History

On December 19, 2010, Kate Stone created plans to extend the existing GZDoom engine using Python. The main purpose of it is to provide a fully scriptable and customizable codebase back-to-front without hard coding features. It will allow for complete engine access and modification, controlled by using lumps, within WADs.
