History
On December 19, 2010, Kate Stone created plans to extend the existing GZDoom engine using Python. The main purpose of it is to provide a fully scriptable and customizable codebase back-to-front without hard coding features. It will allow for complete engine access and modification, controlled by using lumps, within WADs.
