::: Then the MAP28 article is inaccurate. It was probably taking information from the Doom 64 TC, which is highly inaccurate in many regards. Unfortunately earlier in this wiki's history it was considered acceptable to use the TC to document things about Doom 64 despite this being the case. I know for certain that it is impossible to not get 100% kills and successfully finish this map. If any monsters are left living (which can very occasionally happen due to some kind of glitch in the game), the Mother Demon will never emerge and the level must be started over. --Quasar (talk) 23:27, 21 November 2015 (CST)

:::: That clears it up. BTW, I made the edit to Hexen PSX article that is pending approval (about Korax having all 8 angle rotations), before this account was created. I've beaten that port through and through.Betabox (talk) 08:52, 22 November 2015 (CST)

Pickup Messages[edit]

I think the pickup messages information is incorrect, though I don't want to edit it because I'm not exactly sure how/when each message is displayed. I thought it depends on how many artifacts you already picked up; for example, I specifically recall getting the "wasn't meant to be touched" message when getting the cyan key in In the Void the first few times when I had none of the other 2. But I recall later getting the "not of this world" message under the same condition; there's a youtube video showing the latter: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opZmjn85CY0. While that video uses EX and I played on original hardware, I'm sure it's the same in regards to the messages.Betabox (talk) 18:44, 21 November 2015 (CST)

It is possible and I have suspected it myself for some time as I seem to remember receiving a different message at least once. I'll try to verify on my cartridge when I get time. --Quasar (talk) 00:41, 21 November 2015 (CST)
Also to note is the information about the last level's enemies doesn't match the page on level 28. Here, it says using the keys on the switches will kill all the demons to trigger the final boss battle. But on the level 28 page, it says you can only get 100% kills by actually killing all the enemies without activating the switches.Betabox (talk) 18:44, 21 November 2015 (CST)
Then the MAP28 article is inaccurate.
