:: Apparently Gez agreed as he removed the mention of Chex Quest from the offending policy guidelines. What we've learned about it since that was written (stuff about the fact it does modify engine behaviors and isn't just a DEH patch, for example) is an important factor, I think. I'd like to turn this particular article into one that discusses all the various Flemoid species in one place rather than having separate articles for each one, as I think they're A. too similar to each other and B. too similar to their corresponding DOOM monsters to all have separate articles. --[[User:Quasar|Quasar]] 17:06, 18 August 2013 (UTC)

Deletion

Nominated by Justice Infinity on 22 June 2012.  This is specifically mentioned in our notability guidelines as a type of article that should not exist.

  • Keep. The guidelines are wrong! That text regarding Chex Quest should be removed. It DOES modify the engine, and it is technically a commercial game using the Doom Engine. The fact this article is of low quality would make me say "delete," but actually we should have Chex Quest material on the wiki. The article should be made quality, not deleted. --Quasar 16:57, 7 August 2013 (UTC)
Heh, in other words most of the guidelines may be out of date because no one's read them in 5 or 6 years?  Can't really disagree.    Ryan W 15:42, 18 August 2013 (UTC)
