: If you go to the end of Hub 2: Caves of Circe in Hexen to the cave with a teleporter that returns you to the beginning of the map, turn around, face the indentation in the canyon wall that is almost exactly opposite of the cave entrance, and jump off into the chasm in such a way that you end up sliding slightly along this 2S line's lower texture, you will trigger this error with an approximate frequency of one time in twelve to fifteen (occasionally up to 30 tries may be required). If you successfully trigger it in DOSBox, the game will freeze and the DOSBox console window will begin to flood with illegal write error messages. On occasion, DOSBox itself will crash. --Quasar (talk) 13:44, 28 November 2015 (CST)
