I made this since doing a search always uses the current window, and this should allow one to open a new window without having to load some other page or replace something one is reading. Maybe someone could add it to somewhere to the menus? Who is like God? 23:35, 2 May 2008 (UTC)

As you're the only one who's edited this page, I think I could delete it without causing any procedural uproar.  Should I do so?

US$0.02:  I agree that opening a new window is a frustrating omission (the same thing happens e.g. when checking a bunch of diffs to find out when something was added to an article), and could easily be worked around with javascript; that however requires modifying the css stuff which can't be done locally.    Ryan W 19:00, 7 May 2008 (UTC)
