Ron I. Ridge was a transport officer assigned to the Communications Transfer point on Mars during the events of Doom 3. A month before the events of Doom 3, Ridge made a report on an increasing number of accidents in the transport tunnels, especially between the EnPro Plant and the Communications facility. He requested changes be made to provide safer working conditions. A few days before the demonic invasion, Ridge sent an email to his coworker James Holiday asking him what he should do with a shipment of seemingly "useless" chainsaws that he'd received.

Ridge was killed during the invasion. His body and PDA are found in PRC Maintenance at the Communications Transfer level. His PDA will give the Player access to the Service Lift.
