This seems to be just someone that discovered a bug with Doomsday rather than a legitimate bug found in Doom Classic (which is really the intended engine, not vanilla/chocolate). We don't really want this here, do we? --Chungy (talk) 10:35, 23 June 2015 (CDT)

Try it on Chocolate/Vanilla and if it is not there you can nuke it, but anyway, if the bug is caused because the mapper did some weird stuff, maybe it should be mentioned, or maybe not, I don't know. We need consensus. Call the UN. --Kyano (talk) 10:43, 23 June 2015 (CDT)
Policy is to not document port specific bugs on map articles. Test if you wish but I have removed the info for now. --Quasar (talk) 11:45, 23 June 2015 (CDT)
Support Quasar's specific edit, but do we need a general note about this kind of brittleness (including version-dependent special effects in vanilla, ZDoom, etc.), someplace newbies might see it?  List of notable WADs#KeyComparison of source portsCategory:PWADs by port compatibility?    Ryan W (talk) 22:42, 24 June 2015 (CDT)

There was an oversight with teleport destination checking that was fixed in Doomsday 1.15: http://tracker.skyjake.fi/issues/1862 —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 81.141.79.1 (talkcontribs) 13:10, 25 June 2015.

Yeah, that's the biggest issue with listing port bugs in map article, if the port is still maintained it's likely the bug will be fixed but the article may not be updated then. --Gez (talk) 09:47, 25 June 2015 (CDT)
IMO the only time it'd be appropriate is if the map is for the port, and then it should be noted as to what version(s) it was broken in. --Quasar (talk) 10:36, 25 June 2015 (CDT)
