1 Monster (called 1 Monster Megawad in its text file) is a megawad released on October 24, 2007, featuring 25 maps created by 15 Doomworld community members. It requires a Boom-compatible source port to play. As the name would imply, each map contains just one type of monster.
The development of the project occurred entirely within one Doomworld thread started by Dr. Zin.
A fixed version was released on October 28, but never uploaded to the /idgames archive.

- † There are two D_SHAWN lumps. The first is the theme from "Lunar Military Base" level from Descent, however since Doom searches for lumps from the last, it is second D_SHAWN lump, with a version of the original Doom II track, which is actually played.
- ‡ MAP11 contains a FraggleScript "level info" header which sets the level to use D_DOOM for its soundtrack instead of the usual D_STLKS2.
