32in24-16: DOOT CTF is the sixteenth and most recent edition of the 32in24 series of PWADs, in which a 24-hour mapping session is held with the aim of creating a 32-level megawad of multiplayer maps. This time the maps were designed for the Capture the Flag game mode.

The session took place on 23 October, 2016, and as such carried a Halloween theme, though beyond music selections, this overarching theme was less pronounced than in previous entries in the series. Unlike in previous sessions, there was no second session dedicated to polishing the submitted maps, with mappers instead working on their improvements over the following weeks. The WAD was named one of the best multiplayer WADs at the 23rd Annual Cacowards, alongside AeonDM.

32in24-16: DOOT CTF is the sixteenth edition of the 32in24 series of PWADs, in which a 24-hour mapping session is held with the aim of creating a 32-level megawad of multiplayer maps.

Despite much of the work being completed within the first month following the session, the final release of the WAD was heavily delayed, eventually being uploaded to the /idgames archive on 26 October, 2017 - just over a year after the session took place.
