32in24 III: DUEL CORE, also known as 32in24-3 is the third edition of the 32in24 series of PWADs, this time designed for 1-on-1 deathmatch. The session went ahead on August 19, 2007 - a Sunday, in order not to repeat the mistake made by the previous instalment. This combined with the return to smaller deathmatch resulted in a very successful project, with 39 maps submitted over the course of the day. The submissions considered to be the weakest were cut such that 32 maps were included in the final WAD, which was compiled by Dean Joseph (deathz0r), who had been absent from the previous edition. The cut maps were intended to be released standalone, but this did not happen.

The WAD was uploaded to the /idgames archive on 27 August, 2007 and has received very positive reviews.
