Alex "AlexMax" Mayfield is a lesser known member of the Doom community, however he is an accomplished mapper, a proud member of Unidoom and a strong advocate of Source Port compatability.

He has a bit of an unhealthy fascination with Capture the Flag gameplay, and strongly advocates a CTF Standard amongst multiplayer source ports. As a result, he greatly enjoys mapping and playing Capture the Flag, though he's also a fan of plain Deathmatch as well. Though some of his earlier maps sport some advanced mapping feature, he much prefers to map for established standards such as Boom, and is not a fan of jumping or freelook in modern ports.

His port of choice is ZDoom 1.22, though he also keeps Eternity and Chocolate Doom on hand. He considers Dylan "Toke" McIntosh and Ralph "Ralphis" Vickers as his mapping role models.
