All Hell is Breaking Loose is a total conversion for Doom II. It was created by Joel Huenink and released on July 17th, 1996. All Hell is Breaking Loose contains several gameplay changes through extensive use of DeHackEd, most notably new weapons that behave differently from those found in the original game. New monsters are also included, as well as five new levels, new graphics, new music, new sound effects, and new voice-overs.

Development

According to a Doomworld interview with Joel Huenink in 1999, development on All Hell is Breaking Loose began in December of 1995. According to its Doomworld page, the WADs build time was 2 to 6 hours a day over a period of 10 months.
