Andre Werthmann is a German software engineer and programmer who has predominantly worked with the Heretic source code. In regards to Doom history, he has been responsible for the creation and/or modification of the following source ports:
- Linux Heretic (Created port, base for Linux version of GLHeretic)
- GLHeretic (Linux version, approval and original by Michaël Ryssen (Kokak).
He currently works as a system administrator.
