Andy Olivera

Andy R. Olivera (born March 16, 1980) is an American Doomer, mapper and speedrunner. He was the webmaster of the Doomed Speed Demos Archive until 2019. Between 1997 and 2010, he also maintained his Visions of Doom website, posting news updates and reviews of nearly two dozen WADs.

HistoryEdit

Olivera started playing Doom in 1995. Since then he submitted some 290 demos to the Doomed Speed Demos Archive. He is mostly known for his TAS demos of many popular PWADs, some of which he also uploads to YouTube. He also contributed to the ultra-hard megawad Hell Revealed II. On November 12, 2008, he replaced Doug Merrill (Opulent) as the webmaster of the Archive. Together with Merrill, he received the Espi Award for Lifetime Achievement at the 2016 Cacowards. On November 12, 2019, Olivera stepped down from the position of the Doomed Speed Demos Archive maintainer.[1]
