Ashley Carr, also known as Dj Redlight, was an Australian music composer from Perth. He started off his involvement in the Doom community by creating remixes of the entirety of the Doom and Doom II soundtracks, originally posting them to Doom Center on July 22, 2002[1], at a time when not many such remixes were widely available. They were meant to be used with the JDoom source port, and certain releases of that port came bundled with his music by default. Later on, he began working on unique music pieces but occasionally went back to Doom music and released other remixes on his homepage and elsewhere over the years.

Ashley Carr passed away unexpectedly on October 26, 2016. His webpage has been maintained by friends and family since and one of his albums was released posthumously.
