Calgon, Take Me Away! is a single-level PWAD designed by Keith Hickman and released in 1995. Two versions were released - one for Ultimate Doom (calgon.wad, replacing E1M1) and one for Doom II (calgonfx.wad, replacing MAP01).

Essentials[edit]

Other points of interest[edit]

Secrets[edit]

  1. The wall ahead of you at the start has four doors marked with a CALGON sign. The westernmost one leads to a room with a clip. (sector 22)
  2. The room immediately north of the small room with the health bonuses, armor bonuses and shotgun has a secret door on its south wall leading to a chainsaw. (sector 97)
  3. Behind the yellow door it is possible to run across the tops of the crates in the south of the room to reach the large crate, on top of which are two stimpacks and a rocket. (sector 264)
  4. Just after the final door before the bridge to the exit is a secret door on the north wall (marked with a lion's head) leading to three stimpacks, a rocket launcher, and a partial invisibility (not on easy skill). (sector 459)

For the Doom II version, the secrets are the same except that #4 contains a rocket launcher, 1-3 medikits, and a stimpack (not on easy skill).
