I have a question about all Doom 3 levels: should we just have a short summary of each level (like what I went with until now), or should we have a walkthrough that details the encounters and all that? I'm asking because, as much as I like the summary option more, there's not much to write about there, as D3 levels don't feature much storytelling and are mostly based on encounters. So, short summaries or detailed walkthroughs?

: Almost all articles, including walkthroughs, become more detailed over time.  For a walkthrough specifically, you're correct that most encounter descriptions would be redundant to the combat advice already present in monster articles (I'm biased toward old Doom maps, but I seem to recall the same philosophy being used back when Doom 3 was a hot editing topic.)  I gather that many players find the upper skill levels VERY difficult, and therefore may appreciate pointers to all available pickups.  On the other hand, see for some arguments against comprehensive walkthroughs.  HTH.    Ryan W (living fossil) 08:13, 16 December 2018 (CST)

Almost all articles, including walkthroughs, become more detailed over time. On the other hand, see here for some arguments against comprehensive walkthroughs.  HTH.    Ryan W (living fossil) 08:13, 16 December 2018 (CST)
