- It's been suggested that software categories could use an overhaul [1] [2]. In so doing, ideally, we could abstract out significant tech commonalities (.NET might be another, and Category:OpenGL ports already exists) as well as historically significant platforms, but at a high enough level to avoid overly granular subcatting.
