Chris Rhinehart was an employee of Raven Software during the development of Heretic and Hexen. He was one of the main programmers, alongside fellow developer Ben Gokey.

Chris worked at Human Head Studios, which he helped found along with Ben Gokey and Shane Gurno, from October 1997 to November 13, 2019.[1] He now works at Roundhouse Studios, a new subsidiary of Bethesda formed by former Human Head employees.

Chris was a notable signatory of the open letter to Raven requesting resolution of the Raven source code licensing issue.
