The Crossbow is a weapon from Strife. The Crossbow uses two different types of arrows. One type is an electrical arrow that appears to do improved damage to mechanical targets like Sentinels and Stalkers. However, the base damage is weak against mid to high tier enemies such as Crusaders and Inquisitors. The second arrow type are poisonous arrows, useless on machines like the aforementioned, however fatal to human or humanoid targets, such as Peasants, Acolytes, and all variations of them as they will be instantly killed and in a stealthy way. You can use this to also pick off people like Harris or Governor Mourel to avoid sounding off the alarms they set on death.
Electrical arrows are acquired by picking up a Crossbow or a quiver of arrows that have a yellow and purple color. Crossbows provide 8 arrows and the quiver of electic arrows provides 20.
Poison arrows are acquired by picking up a quiver of arrows that have a green color. The quiver of poison arrows provides 10 per pickup.
