Death's Dichotomy is five-level PK3 for Doom II, released in May 2021. It was created by Major Arlene, Bauul, Remmirath and Clay. Its very colorful and detailed five maps are meant to explore themes on death and dying.
Development for the project originates with the announcement of the Near Death Experiences community project on Doomworld. After several delays and hiatuses in development, the main project was cancelled and some of the maps made for it were gathered to become Death's Dichotomy. The project saw its first release on May 1, 2021, and was uploaded to the /idgames archive two months later, on July 7.
