Dimension of the Boomed is a 9-level PWAD for Doom II requiring a Boom-compatible source port. It was released by Stephen Wadsworth (Urthar) in 2018 and won of one of the 25th Annual Cacowards. Separate releases are available for compatibility with ZDoom mods and Quake Champions: Doom Edition.
Dimension of the Boomed combines resources, monsters, and aesthetics from Quake with frenetic Doom gameplay to achieve its own unique style. Quake fans will recognise homages to some iconic set pieces, but the majority of the mapset is original content.

Custom monsters
- The Spawn has 80 hit points and replaces Commander Keen.
- The Scrag has 150 hit points and replaces Romero's head.
- The Shambler has 900 hit points and replaces Wolfenstein SS.
