General info

DoomCAD is a level editor for Windows by Matt Tagliaferri. the layout of the program looked very similar to most 2-d level editors of the time. Seeing as Doom and Doom II did not have the ability to support over under structures the entire maps could be viewed and made from the Birds eye view.

Capabilities

DoomCAD allowed a multitude of things to be created. Finally and end user had the ability to create customer levels for Doom and Doom II. The possibilities were endless. You could do fake walls, elevators, bad guys inumerable. the capabilities are literally endless and up to how far the end user is will to push the game engine and tweak it.

DoomCAD requires a 16-bit Windows environment, and will not work on 64-bit versions of Windows.
