Doom 2 Unleashed (Pcorf community project) is a 2011 megawad that contains forty new levels, made by members of the Doomworld community. It requires a Boom-compatible source port to play.
It was originally started in September 2009 by Paul Corfiatis. The aim of the project was to create a level for Doom II using only stock Doom II textures. 15 months later, forty levels were submitted and divided into two episodes: the first Doom 2 Unleashed which contains the 32 main levels and the second No Hope For Peace which contains eight additional levels. The megawad also contains a separate music WAD with mostly original music. The main WAD contains the submitted songs and the songs from Doom, Doom II and TNT picked by Paul Corfiatis.
A sequel, 2048 Unleashed, was released in 2015.
