Doom 4 Vanilla is a Doom (2016)-inspired gameplay mod released by Thales Lari (Noiser) et all in 2019. It features redone graphics, sounds, music and enemies, along with a "Doom4mator" feature to convert textures/flats on any map for a Doom 2016-inspired style. All weapons are also redone, in addition to eight optionally selectable replacement weapons.

A vanilla-compatible version is provided, with features such as brightmaps, blood splats on floors and palette editing realized through DeHackEd, alongside a version specifically for source ports with additional GL features like dynamic lighting, glowing flats, hardware brightmaps, translucency and Decorate fixes. Additionally, for each version of the mod, Back to Saturn X support is provided through separate packages; the mod itself uses the status bar graphics from BTSX. As of April 21, 2020, the most recent version is v3.2.1.

Doom 4 Vanilla was awarded as one of the Gameplay Mods of 2019 at that year's Cacowards.
