| In the PlayStation versions of Doom and Final Doom, the text "cast of characters" is displayed on the top of the screen, and while the final boss is not present in any of the games, it still appears in the background. The arch-vile is not included since it was removed from the game, and just like the spectre, the nightmare spectre is not included either. Otherwise, the order of appearance remains unchanged from the PC version. The PSX version also adds a shotgun firing sound when pressing buttons to proceed through the sequence. | | In the PlayStation versions of Doom and Final Doom, the text "cast of characters" is displayed on the top of the screen, and while the final boss is not present in any of the games, it still appears in the background. | + | The cast sequence screen remains similar to that of the PlayStation versions. However, once the player has proceeded through Our Hero's sequence, the game returns to the title screen, instead of looping infinitely like the PlayStation versions. |
