:: That would be ideal, since there would be so few articles affected, and the format of internal links would remain the same. Do we have anybody here who knows these scripting languages in detail, though? I sure don't. [[User:Ryan W|Ryan W]] 00:45, May 20, 2010 (UTC)

I kinda have the feeling that the "fix" applied was not exactly what was actually wanted... Thinking about it some more, maybe it could be possible to use the solidus (⁄) instead of the slash? Depends on whether DISPLAYTITLE would accept to replace it with a slash, like it accepts to replace letter casing or force the use of underscores... It's doubtful. --[[User:Gez|Gez]] 18:19, May 26, 2010 (UTC)

::::: <nowiki>[edit conflict]</nowiki> ''Removing the ability to use subpages on the main namespace would cause more problems than solving the one.'' Er, like what? We don't have such subpages now (excepting several redirects, and two sandboxes which could have been moved to project space with no issue). Unlike some other gaming wikis, we will never have 40,000+ articles on items and kits necessitating several overlapping navigation hierarchies. We even have other articles with slashes in the titles, but without the part before the slash being a title, which is the only reason it took us this long to notice the issue. [[User:Ryan W|Ryan W]] 23:21, May 26, 2010 (UTC)

(unindent) Well, spacing doesn't solve the issue, so [[DOS/4GW]] would be better than [[DOS / 4GW]]. --[[User:Gez|Gez]] 23:13, May 26, 2010 (UTC)

: Gez, [[DOS ⁄ 4GW|this]] actually doesn't look half bad, at least in Monobook. (I think my [[wikipedia:80286|Goldstar GT212]] used a similar font.) [[User:Ryan W|Ryan W]] 00:21, May 27, 2010 (UTC)
