Doom live-action series

A Doom live-action series has been announced as being a work in progress by anonymous sources affiliated with the website Giant Freakin' Robot as of April 6, 2023. The series is to be produced by NBCUniversal's Peacock streaming service.[1]
Development history[edit]
The April 6, 2023 announcement stated that the series would stand on its own and not serve as a continuation to either of the existing movies. It was speculated that the series has been greenlit due to the previous success of the similar series for The Last of Us.[1]
