SecretsEdit

  1. After going through the first door, turn right and head through the door. Approaching the box of shotgun shells and the armor bonus in this room lowers a lift, at the top of which is a medikit, and a chaingun (easy and medium skills) or 4 shotgun shells. Note that the trigger to lower the lift only works once. (sector 188)
  2. In the water maze to the south, head along the main path until you see a niche on your right. The back wall of this niche is a secret door, leading to a backpack. Note that there is a crushing ceiling in front of the backpack. (sector 33)
  3. The path almost directly opposite from #2's niche leads to a waterfall. It is possible to walk through the waterfall to reach a chainsaw, a zombieman (medium and hard skills only), 4 shotgun shells (easy and medium skills only), a stimpack (easy and hard skills only), and a second stimpack (easy and medium skills, multiplayer only). Collecting the chainsaw opens up a trap with a demon and (on medium and hard skills) a spectre. (sector 70)
  4. After the water maze, you will go through a door leading to the beach. Directly ahead of you at the top of the first flight of stairs is a secret door (marked with a silvery texture) leading to a box of rockets, a shotgun guy (medium and hard skills only), an imp, a radiation shielding suit, and a medikit. There is also a second radiation shielding suit on multiplayer. (sector 251)
  5. Immediately behind the blue door is a corridor heading north. A path to the west leads to a switch - this lowers a lift near the blue door leading to an area with several monsters. A switch to the south lowers some bars, appearing to seal off the monster area. (sector 105)
  6. Directly opposite the area in which the monsters encountered after #5 are is a secret door (near the tall techno pillar) leading to a switch, a plasma rifle (easy and medium skills, multiplayer only) and a door to a soul sphere (two on multiplayer). (sector 95)
  7. Directly south of the lowering bars is a secret door (in between the computer wall sections) leading to a plasma rifle and a way into the sealed off monster area. (sector 112)
  8. The switch pressed in #6 lowers a teleporter in the sealed off monster area which leads to a switch. This switch lowers an area south of #6 (accessible by jumping down from the soul sphere area) containing a BFG9000 (on multiplayer there is a second one on easy and medium skills). Note that both teleporter linedefs in the monster area are single-use, so this teleporter can only be entered twice in total (including by monsters). After both sides have been crossed, it will be impossible to use the teleporter, and impossible to kill any living monsters that have teleported through. (sector 100)
  9. Just before the exit is a water pool with a pillar in it. The pillar can be entered from its south side, where there is a partial invisibility. (sector 126)

BugsEdit

The water maze (in which the blue key is located on hard skill) is entered by pressing a switch to lower a section of floor. This section of floor can also be raised by pressing a switch at the bottom. If this latter switch is pressed, it will be impossible to re-enter the water maze (as the lowering switch is single-use), thus making the level impossible to complete if the blue key has not been collected from the maze.
