E1M3: The Doomed Lab is the third map in the Deep into the Code of 2002 A Doom Odyssey. It was designed by Paul Corfiatis and uses his music track "No fear!". In the 10th anniversary edition some geometry changes were applied but the things population remained the same, apart from the removal of 19 tall techno columns from the walls around the moat.

Secrets[edit]

  1. In the first room past the starting room, you will find a differently textured part of the eastern wall in the southeastern part of the area. Across this wall is a switch, blocked by blue bars. To get access to the switch, press another one placed southeast of the first switch and is blue-coded (it doesn't require the blue key to press it). Press the second switch and come back to the area with the first switch. The bars will be lowered, allowing you to use the switch. Press it and take the newly revealed elevator across it (where the differently colored wall originally was) up to get a green armor. (sector 41)
  2. Open the red door and take the lift down. Use a wall to the north until a lift lowers, then take it up to find boxes of rockets and a rocket launcher. (sector 146)
  3. In the last secret, if you go to the southwesternmost box of rockets, open the wall to the east to collect a megaarmor and a soul sphere. (sector 147)
  4. At the outside area, take the door leading east and go around until you reach the lever switch. Go back a bit and use the northern wall at the inner corner (southeast from the lever) to reveal a switch and a backpack. The switch temporarily lowers a lift to the north, which leads to another outside area with the secret exit. (sector 70)
