E1M3: The Resevoir [sic] is the third map of Realm of Parthoris. It was designed by Obsidian and uses the music track "Gutter Penny," by Gus Knezevich (Alfonzo).

Walkthrough

Map of The Resevoir

Letters in italics refer to marked spots on the map. Sector, thing, and linedef numbers in boldface are secrets which count toward the end-of-level tally.

Secrets

1. In the room on the west side of the map where the Golems pop up from the floor, climb the steps and use the switch to lower the lift. When you get on it, the wall to the west opens up revealing Undead Warriors. There is a switch in their compartment on the south wall. Shoot it, then head to the yellow key room to find the Wings of Wrath from the central column. (sector 111)
2. Climb the steps at the start and press on the banner to reveal a teleporter nearby. Take it to get Gauntlets of the Necromancer. (sector 175)
3. With the Wings of Wrath from Secret #1, head back to the outdoor courtyard at the north end of the map and activate them to get to the top of the waterfall. At the end is a Mystic Urn. (sector 199)
4. In the water maze, you can get an Enchanted Shield by going through the waterfall in the second block from the southwest corner. (sector 210)
5. In the final area, a Tome of Power sits atop a block at the northwest end. If you still have the Wings of Wrath activated, you can fly up there to get it, otherwise you will have to utilize an Iron Lich's tornado attack to get up there. (sector 294)
6. In the final area, a Mystic Urn sits atop a block at the southeast end. If you still have the Wings of Wrath activated, you can fly up there to get it, otherwise you will have to utilize an Iron Lich's tornado attack to get up there. (sector 295)
