Secrets

  1. Once you collect the red key, go straight south from the main intersection to open the way ahead if you have not done so already. Open the red door to find two gargoyle switches and a lift. Ignore the lift and press both gargoyle switches to open two alcoves in the previous room. The alcove on the right has an energy cell pack and a box of shotgun shells. (sector 13)
  2. The alcove on the left has another box of shotgun shells and a medikit. (sector 14)
  3. This sector is in front of both Secrets #1 and #2, and can be obtained even without getting either secret. (sector 21)
  4. Now take the lift mentioned above (it does not have any signs of being a lift, but press on the south wall to find it). There will be spectres up here. In this small area, go to the left wall and through it to find a switch. This switch raises up the nukage pit in the main intersection, which will allow you to safely grab the items, including a rocket launcher, energy cell pack, box of rockets, and a megaarmor. Note that if you are playing on Ultra-Violence or higher, the method of reaching this secret is much more different, as you will have to contend with teleporters. There are four squares to contend with to reach the secret in this case, and teleport lines are in all four squares. To reach the secret on Ultra-Violence or higher, step on the northeast square, which will teleport you to the southwest square. From there, step to the southeast square, where you will not teleport. In the southeast square, step back to the northeast square to teleport directly to the secret. (sector 42)
  5. At the left side of the southernmost area, flip the switch to reveal a passage in the nukage pit. Follow the trail of stimpacks and armor bonuses to reach a backpack. (sector 66)
  6. At the southernmost area, flip the switch on the rising and lowering platform, then quickly run to the east side to collect a plasma gun from the wall. Note that this switch can only be activated once. (sector 85)
