E1M6: Fuel Extraction is the sixth map of URE2020: Unexpected Retro Experience. It was designed by Zylinderkatze and uses one of the following music tracks: "Sinister" by Robert Prince (base WAD), untitled track by Amaury Laurent Bernier (when loading base WAD with URE2020A.WAD) or "Turning Tricks" by Nathan Maxx (Lippeth) (when loading base WAD with URE2020L.WAD).

Other points of interest[edit]


  1. After opening the blue door and approaching the yellow door, head back and to the south end with the rising and lowering platforms. As the platforms lower, find four skulls that do not have red eyes and use all of them. Return to the lift further north of this area and ride up, then use the skull to the west to open the east wall. This leads to a megaarmor. (sector 469)
  2. At the red key, enter the alcoves to the west or east when they open. Backtrack to the area with the three key doors and northwest of the teleporter, take the lift to get a soul sphere. (sector 1045)
  3. After opening the yellow door and approaching the red door, head to the middle of the map where a blood pit is and use the south wall. Keep heading south, then to either side and continue south and to the rocket launcher. Return to where you picked a path and head south to get an energy cell and a BFG9000. (sector 1090)
