EssentialsEdit

Go to the crossroads in front of you and kill any enemies approaching from the left and right, then take the west path to enter a room with six ceiling lights; stepping under these lights will cause the room to darken. Head south down two sets of red steps to find the blue keycard at the bottom as well as four backpacks; picking up the key will cause two closets containing various monsters to open to the east and west, and some of those monsters will be teleported to the steps you just descended.

Return to the starting point and take the south path this time, then follow the winding stone path over some nukage pools until you reach an area with blue computer walls overhead. Go through the small door here then turn right and climb the steps to a gray platform which leads round to a room with circular blue pads. Head south through a small doorway then turn right to see the red keycard in front of you. Watch out for the crushing ceiling that lowers around the key as you approach it, as well as three closets containing various monsters that open nearby when you pick it up.

Return to the starting point and take the east path this time, flipping the switch on the left-hand wall to lower a lift. Ride the lift up and follow the passage east to a stimpack, then north to a tunnel with strip lights containing a demon; kill this monster and enter the room behind it to find imps guarding a shotgun and a medikit, then enter the neighboring chamber to find the yellow keycard surrounded by nukage. The entrance to the room will be sealed when you collect the key - kill a cacodemon approaching from the east then flip the switch behind it to lower several platforms holding various monsters. Head south past two zombiemen and some imps to a room containing a chainsaw, then continue south to a teleporter that will put you by the lift you used earlier.

With all three keys, return to the room with the ceiling lights (which led to the blue key) then head west and north-west through some nukage to find a demon and two zombiemen guarding a button. Press this button then return to the previous room and head north up some steps that have risen, then go through the door on your right to enter a room with three sets of colored barriers that are blocking the path to the exit switch; there are also six to twelve radiation shielding suits in this room, depending on skill level. Take a suit then step into the nukage and follow a tunnel north and west to see a red key door ahead of you; go through the door and follow the passage behind it to lower the first set of barriers blocking the exit. A lift in the previous room will lower when you approach the switch, releasing imps and demons.

Return to the exit room and collect another suit before entering the nukage again, but this time go through the east doorway and follow the tunnel north to an octagonal room with a cacodemon and one or more lost souls. There are two passages branching off from this room - take the north-east passage first, then follow the path east and south through some nukage which is populated by more imps and demons. Push past them as quickly as possible, and you will reach a staircase blocked by a baron of Hell; kill the baron then open the door behind it (requiring the yellow key) to find the switch to remove the second barrier. Flip this switch then go back to the octagonal room and enter the north-west passage to find a blue key door, open it then walk through the next room to find the third and final switch in the west wall.

Blow up the barrels to kill the imps, zombiemen and shotgun guys that were revealed behind you when you approached the switch, then backtrack to the exit room where another baron has been released. Kill it then step over the barriers to flip the exit switch and finish the level.

Other points of interestEdit

When you step on the plinth with the blue key, a lift with a chaingun lowers in front of you. If you ride the lift up then step on the east or west paths, the nearby pentagram wall will lower to reveal an invulnerability guarded by lost souls or a cacodemon.

After entering the room with the chainsaw past the yellow key, head west and north into the room that held the shotgun then south down a passage with strip lights. Three metal platforms have lowered here, and one of them holds a supercharge guarded by a lost soul and a demon.

With the red key, go to the room with the ceiling lights and enter the nukage to the west. Step south-west to find a red key door with a computer area map behind it.

In the yellow key area is a switch next to a door with blue key markers. With the blue key, you can flip the switch to open a room with an armor, stimpacks, a box of bullets and a box of shotgun shells.

After raising the steps leading up to the exit room, climb them and turn left to enter a room with a medikit. Approach the medikit and a lift will take you down to an area with a rocket launcher as well as various monsters. From here you can step north-west across the nukage to reach a partial invisibility guarded by a baron.

With the yellow key, you can open the door next to the exit switch to find three medikits.

SecretsEdit

  1. In the area with ceiling lights that turn off when you go under them, head west and take the north-west path. Use the wall with the warning sign next to the switch, then open the wall with the skull to get a radiation suit. (sector 49)
  2. In the area with ceiling lights that turn off when you go under them, head south down the first set of red steps. Use the west wall to find an armor. (sector 141)
  3. Take the winding passage south of the start. At the second big turn, head south through the nukage to the grate that is pouring nukage, then head behind it and use the switch. This opens the wall behind you, which contains a berserk pack. (sector 185)
  4. After you get the yellow key, go back through the winding passage to the east side, which has a large expanse of nukage to the east. West of there, use the wall with a torch above it. This lowers the torch. Shoot the wall behind the torch and you will raise the floor where the nukage was. Cross over and open the yellow door to find a plasma gun. (sector 193)
  5. Flip the switch east of the starting point and take the lift up. Head east a bit, then north and west. Use the wall which has a bit of ceiling sticking out. When it lowers, you can pick up a supercharge to the north. (sector 246)
