This level occupies the map slot E1M9. For other maps which occupy this slot, see Category:E1M9.

E1M9: Prototype is the ninth and secret map of the first episode in Return to Hadron. It was designed by Matt Powell (cannonball) and uses the music track "Lunar Outpost" level theme (d_cent06) from Descent.

  1. Get out of the train at the start and head behind it for a soul sphere. (sector 82)
  2. After using the switch in the center of the map, many of the walls lower around you. Directly south from this switch, slightly past where the red key used to be located, there is a small crawlspace you can see. Use this crawlspace and a wall will lower for a megaarmor. (sector 288)
