E2M1: Switchback (A 3-in-1 Remake) (M_PHOBUS.WAD) is the first map in episode Descent to Darkness of ZPack. It was designed by James Cresswell (Phobus) and uses the music track "Nuts and Bolts" from Donkey Kong Country 3, composed by Eveline Fischer, in a MIDI version sequenced by Dave Phaneuf and Sam Wolf. The par time defined in MAPINFO is 9:00.

Secrets[edit]

  1. Exit the starting room and go down the steps. Turn towards the steps and head left, into the alcove with the computer area map. You only have thirty seconds before this secret is closed off for good. (sector 56)
  2. There are two windows with imps just outside the red key area. Enter the window on the left to get a berserk pack. (sector 276)
  3. In the crate room with the blue key, get onto the tiny crates and use them to jump onto the brown one. Go across the crates going west until you reach the health bonuses and megaarmor. (sector 410)
  4. When you reach the red rock where the portal to the next area is, instead of running all the way across the dropping floors, jump to the ledge to the east. Go along this ledge until you reach backpacks and a teleporter. (sector 486)
