Secrets

  1. At the top of the second staircase at the start is a secret door in the north-west corner leading to an imp, a box of shotgun shells, and a backpack. There is also a shotgun here in multiplayer. (sector 191)
  2. Taking the northern of the three teleporters takes you to an outdoor area with a teleporter in a water pool which takes you to another outdoor area with a similar blood pool. To the south-east of this blood pool is a secret door leading to a berserk. There are two secret sectors here. (sector 116)
  3. See #2. (sector 117)
  4. In between #2 and #3 is a short blue firestick illuminating a secret door leading to a room containing several lost souls and a demon (on hard skill only). There is a door in the south of this room leading to a path which forks (the west fork only becomes accessible on pressing the switch to the west of the blood pool). The east fork leads via an energy cell, an energy cell pack, a BFG9000, and two lifts to a platform with a radiation shielding suit (and a baron of Hell on medium and hard skills). Shooting the back wall of the cage opposite opens up a door leading to a room with two boxes of bullets, a zombieman, a megaarmor, a soul sphere, a partial invisibility, and a switch. The switch opens up access to another cage with a baron of Hell. (sector 135)
  5. Taking the aforementioned west fork causes a platform to be raised allowing access to the blood pool. Pressing the westernmost of the three northern switches in the blood pool lowers two platforms in the earlier water pool, containing a soul sphere and a megaarmor. Both of these count as secrets. It is possible to get back to the water room by using the teleporter to the north of the teleporter leading to the exit (this returns you to the start of the level). (sector 65)
  6. See #5. (sector 72)
  7. Taking the eastern of the three teleporters leads to a corridor partway along which is a short blue firestick illuminating a section of wall to the east. This lit section is a secret door leading to the blue door room. Approaching the blue door (marked with armor bonuses on easy and medium skills) opens up access to the blue key at the end of the corridor. (sector 88)
