E2M8 is the eighth and final map of the second episode of Heroes. It was originally designed by Peter Naus as HEX1.WAD (The Halls of Hex = the Halls of Power), then modified by Albert Dewey for the compilation. It uses the music track " ".

Secrets
- The room with the switch that opens up the long room near the start counts as a secret and is impossible to miss. (sector 62)
- #1 has a door to the south leading to a corridor with a box of shotgun shells and 1-3 imps. (sector 204)
- The room opened by #1 has a secret door in the far east leading to 0-2 imps and three boxes of bullets (one on easy skill). (sector 207)
- Getting the yellow key opens up several rooms, one of which contains a backpack which lowers on approaching. Collecting the backpack opens up a room to the north. This room has a niche to the east, the back wall of which is a secret door leading to a computer area map. (sector 200)
- Immediately south of the door leading into the blue key area (which requires the blue key to open from the blue key side) is a niche to the west, the back wall of which is a secret door leading to a medikit. (sector 202)
