Inspiration and development
- Design for the introductory fenced-in city scene was started in 2004 for Doom II, textured using half-timbered materials in an early OTEX build. When Kristus decided to make a Heretic episode, this level was converted with its OTEX surfaces replaced by Heretic textures CTYSTCI1 and WOODWL
