E4M5: They Will Repent is the fifth map of Thy Flesh Consumed in Doom. It was designed by Tim Willits, with the original layout created by his sister, Theresa Chasar. It uses the music track "Waltz of the Demons."

Walkthrough

At the start, go left, and take another left going downstairs, killing any enemies in your way. When you get to the bottom, go straight, and open the door. Go right, and when you get to an opening to the right, go in and open the door. In here, go straight, activate the lift, killing any Imps or Lost Souls in your way. When you get to the top, take a right and get the Red Key, and kill any Zombiemen and Shotgun Guys up here too. Exit this room, and when you get into this room again, go all the way right to get to the Red Door, and kill the Zombiemen/Cacodemons in front of it.

Go through the Red Door. Follow this bridge to a lift, killing any Demons, Shotgun Guys, Lost Souls, or Cacodemons in your way. Lower the lift, kill the Shotgun Guy, and get the Blue Key. When the lift gets back up to the top, follow the hall to a door, killing the Zombieman and Demon. Open the door. Follow this bridge to the Blue Door, killing the enemies on your way. Open the Blue Door, and go through it.

Kill the Zombiemen and Shotgun Guys in front of you, and *run* to jump these platforms to get to a lift. Take the lift down, and down here, kill the Zombiemen and Demons. From the lift, go straight, and take a left down a set of stairs. You may end of in front of the Yellow Door, but go left, and hit the switch (which is a door). Kill the Shotgun Guy in here, and take the teleporter in here too. Now, walk slowly on this platform to reach the Yellow Key (watch out for the Lost Soul that may bug you). When you get the Yellow Key, drop down in the blood pit, and take the teleporter down here.

You'll be back in this small room where you used a teleporter to get to the Yellow Key. Hit the switch in front of you (it's the door), and go straight, and get to the Yellow Door on the left. Open the yellow door, go in, kill the Zombieman, and follow this bridge to the exit switch. Hit it.

Secrets

  1. Go through the red door in the same room where the red key is found. In the following area, open the 45-degree-angle wall to reveal a small secret closet.
  2. Just before the yellow door is a narrow river of blood you must cross. Follow this to the left and open the gargoyle-faced wall. Open the wall to the left (with the gap in the bottom) in the next small room to get a berserk pack.

It is possible to exit the level without a key but running straight through the window to the exit switch.
