El Viaje de Diciembre is a vanilla-compatible, six-level PWAD for Doom II, created by Cacodemon187 and first announced on the Doomworld forums on December 5, 2022. The project started out as a speedmapping challenge, with the first four maps all created over the course of six days. A full release followed on March 26, 2023, with the final version being uploaded to the idgames archive on July 27, 2023. All texts that are displayed in-game are in Spanish, and the maps take inspiration from works such as Earth, A Fistful of Doom, and TNT: Evilution, with a focus on atmosphere and exploration.
El Viaje de Diciembre was a runners-up at the 2023 Cacowards.

The WAD file includes a DeHackEd patch that modifies the lost soul, reducing its health to 45 HP, as well as a custom PLAYPAL and COLORMAP, and several sound replacements for things such as the pistol, shotgun, plasma gun, and teleport sound.
