Electric bolt

Electric bolts near the beginning of MAP01: Sanctuary.

The electric bolt is one of the two types of arrow for Strife's crossbow. It creates a small current of electricity between two prongs at the tip, much like a taser. Unlike the poison bolt, the electric bolt triggers alarms on impact due to the noise.

Finding a quiver of orange-yellow arrows will net the player 20 electric bolts. On Training or Bloodbath, the amount is 40.

The player can pick up a maximum of 50 electric bolts. With the ammo satchel, the amount is 100.

In old versions of the game, the pickup prompts referred to the bolts as "arrows".
