The Doom Wiki is an extensive community effort to document everything related to id Software's masterpiece games Doom and Doom II, other games based on the Doom engine, Doom 3, the newest Doom, and more. We have created 23,208 articles to date.

The archive was founded in 1994 by Barry Bloom, and is currently hosted on the FTP site of gamers.org, where it has been housed since 2001.
