'''Doom RPG''' is a game designed for Java cellphones, and its story is set in the Doom universe. The game was developed by Fountainhead Entertainment and id Software and published by JAMDAT Mobile Inc. EA Mobile went on distributing the game after the company had acquired JAMDAT. The game was released at the same time as the Doom movie in October 2005, and in the UK in November 2005. In 2007, the developers of Fountainhead became id Mobile.
'''Chocolate Doom''' is a set of conservative source ports for Doom, Heretic, Hexen, and Strife, started in 2005 by [[Simon Howard (Fraggle)]], with a philosophy of preserving the look, feel, and bugs of the vanilla versions of each game. Deliberately including very few new features and maintaining all of the limitations of the original DOS versions, Chocolate Doom is of use to level authors creating vanilla-compatible levels, as well as players seeking an authentically retro experience of the game as it was played in the 1990s.
