 +
* The inexperienced should check out the "Doom Wiki needs you" section on this page.  It links to some simple tasks that need attention.
 +
* This page is the public face of the wiki - test edits are best done on a separate page.
 +
* Sections within "<! --" and "-- >" markers (without the spaces) - like this entire section - are hidden comments, and can extend over several lines.  Be sure not to break them.

'''Conversations''' or '''dialogues''' are a feature of Strife: Quest for the Sigil, allowing peaceful interactions with NPCs.
 +
A conversation takes place between the player and one NPC, sometimes with added commentary by BlackBird. Plot-relevant conversations usually feature a full-screen portrait of the character and voice-acting for his lines. During a conversation, inventory items can be given to or taken from the player (which is how shopping is implemented).

About DoomWiki.org

The Doom Wiki is an extensive community effort to document everything related to id Software's masterpiece games Doom and Doom II, other games based on the Doom engine, Doom 3, Doom (2016), Doom Eternal, and more. We have created 8,986 articles to date.

This site is a wiki, so everyone is encouraged to create and edit articles. New contributors should read our FAQ first. Trivia

Did you know that in the original Doom games the speed of projectiles does not take the vertical dimension into account? For example, this causes monsters' fireballs to travel extremely fast when fired from above or below.
